Small Art is the living room performance series I curate/host in my St. Paul house. The next one is taking place on January 21 (you can contact me if you'd like to be added to the email list, or join our facebook page).
I started Small Art because I wanted an opportunity for artists from different disciplines to share an audience (and for audiences to discover new art). Also: a home setting gives a a very different, much more intimate experience than a traditional theater. It's really magical (if I do say so myself), and not something I can easily articulate in words. Sometimes the best art is a really great exchange between audience and performer. I crave that kind of experience.
